Ordered a take away meal. We were initially advised it would take 1 hour. We were willing to wait that long. However, when we returned after an hour, were advised it would be another 10-15 minutes. This dragged on without any form time on an estimated time for our food to be ready. Over 2 hours passed before we received our food. The man who spoke to us (I can only assume is the owner) did not apologise in any way, other than provide a $10 refund on a $97 order. He only offered excuses, out even denied there was a problem, advising us we had received cheap food. We were frustrated, and expressed this to him. He then told us we can leave the restaurant.Do not go here if you want to eat in a reasonable time.At the risk of sounding pretty, we did not find the food justified the wait, despite heating other customers comment on how good it was. We found the food could best be described as average. But, to top it all of, one of us found a hair, and what appeared to be a metal shaving in our Pad Thai.Our experience was not one we would want other customers to experience. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious food with incredibly friendly owners. Felt as if I was eating in my own home. Warm and cozy. Will definitely be back next time were in Oberon.
