Wow! I highly recommend staying here to everyone. What an amazing place with stunning picturesque views of the Duckmaloi Valley. We had 2 romantic nights including our Wedding night in the Gumnut Chalet and had the most incredible experience ever. The Chalet was clean, management provided necessities such as tissues, water to drink, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc. It was so cosy and welcoming to come inside to the wood fire after sitting out on the balcony wrapped in blankets watching the sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed watching the kangaroos/wallabies come close to the chalet, especially the 2 mothers that had joeys in their pouchs, 1 joey even managed to come out which provided great photo opportunities. Even listening to all of the native birds waking up in the morning and seeing them fly over the valley was spectacular.
Great place to stay! For romance or family.
Nice little cottages and ideal for big groups. We hired 3 cottages and we really enjoyed our stay there. The sunrise over the top is amazing and cannot be forgotten. At sunset, you will be able to host your friendly neighbours the Kangaroos as they come in groups.
